So if you don't know I like the Amarr..... I also like all things Amarrian. I also like Lasers.
So I'm off lasering and doing my thing burning all the heretics and apostates I see and finally at the end of the match I get killed by this guy. So I was probably 11/1 or something like that at the end of the match.
This unnamed soul sends me this message telling me to get a gun game, stop using such a ***** ass weapon, and come down and fight him instead of hiding up on some pipes killing him.
So I looked at the score board.... he was 3/13 so I figured at least 4-5 of his deaths were me....
Messaged him back asking how I did better than him with a gimped gun.... to this day he has not responded to me.
Ah the Laser what a diamond in the rough you are. |

Really depends on situation Pulse lasers have terrible range understandably so both in EVE and in dust. Beam's for the WIN! |

If you get one beam you might live if you run.
if you get two beams on you then you die.
If you get three beams on you then you melt.
Such is my experience when running with the guys from PIE.

Nah you can hit your targets just by hovering over them with the tip of the sight but that covering the body thing is a good rule to live by. I can get behind that. |

.... I was really just bragging about how I like to use Lasers and normally do reasonably well with them..... I don't think the laser needs a nerf or a buff or a change really I like it how it is now. |

From playing around with some AUR lasers, that looks to be a good rule of thumb. The only thing that sucks is how stiff it is when you ADS. I had to turn my sensitivity up just to stay on target.
I'm told this is being changed at some point. ADS speed is normally affected by armour.... (again im told this) and so for me I have terribly slow ADS tracking. |

You are preaching to the choir once I get my Amarrian MTAC's I will never again question CCP. Aero my PIE buddy would love to fly Amarr dropships and I would love to gun for him with laser turrets, while Im sure Metsar would love to drive Amarrian tanks....

No they aren't there are a sure fire slayer of a gun. Ripping people apart from objectives as they try to get across open ground or harassing them from the flanks works wonders. |
